On Sunday, three days after my second chemo treatment, my scalp started to tingle and was incredibly sore. The next morning it came out in clumps. I was bald by that evening.
Here's the evolution of my hair!
This was taken on Thanksgiving day 2008. I had my first chemo seven days earlier.
Christmas Eve wearing the ever-present beanie I bought at Nordstrom.
It was cashmere and I adored it...until I wore it every moment of the day!
It's back!! May, 2009
One month after finishing chemo.
For the record, it started coming back sometime in late March but was far too short to still go out naked. Looking back at this photo, maybe I should have still kept things under wrap!

I've had it trimmed several times and I think I might have started to get a few highlights put in by this time too.
March, 2010
I was taking a photo of my new apron but I was digging the hair that day too. I had flat ironed it but the bangs were still uncontrollable (hence, the clip)!
11 months post chemo.
April, 2010
Finally letting the bangs do their own thing.
One year post chemo.
Early July 2010
Feeling like I've got a regular head of hair again - FINALLY!
15 months post chemo.
Late July 2010
Working the blonde again!
At this point, I'm starting to love it again. It could be a smidge longer in the back but overall I'm good with it!
